Ufuk Mayna Sailing Türkiye which works on ship production, repair and support has been continuing its activities with the name Burç Turk Maritime in Algeria. Burç Turk Maritime authorities who has presented their works with a meeting said they were prepared on designing a big ship. The authorities who declared that they had no problem about the ship whose build was completed since it was put into the water although engineers said they faced with stability problem at one in ten ships, the authorise said " that was succeed with professionalise of our engineers and workers". Burç Turk Maritime General Manager İlhan İşbilen also said they intended to start huge ship projects in the country.
Mr. İşbilen emphasized they prepared to open a vocational school, he said "Our coming aim to Algeria is to have gained some skills in the ship construction field.
"The Project will solve unemployment matter"
"We desire to establish different enterprises. Although we have offers from Morocco and Tunisia, we have chosen this country" said Mr. İşbilen and he emphasized this project would be a solution for unemployment and have opportunity for job facilities in ship industry of Algeria. Mr. İşbilen emphasized however the size of a ship was the enterprise had capacity to repair it and added "Algeria do not have to send them abroad for repairing after growing such an industry". Burç Turk Maritime that presents its ship models in the meeting, tugboats and tank ships longer than one hundred metres have been created interest. Mr. İşbilen emphasized that they could build tugboats having better control with new technology and added "Turk Maritime has participated in all tenders since 2005. Our construction site was started to work formally in 2006. We have been continuing our way since we stepped into sailing industry".
